Our Philosophy

At the heart of The Teeny Tinys is a simple message shared with every child and family:

You are capable.
You are wise.
You are creative.
And we grow together — one song, one giggle, and one tiny step at a time.

Who We Are

  • At The Teeny Tinys, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and joyful. Our approach is rooted in the understanding that music is a powerful tool for connection, regulation, and learning — especially in the early years.

We use music and movement as our foundation, blending rhythm, repetition, and playful exploration to support children’s natural curiosity. Our sessions are intentionally designed to feel predictable yet creative, allowing children to participate at their own pace while building confidence and trust.

Drawing on early childhood education principles and lived classroom experience, we focus on whole-child development — supporting emotional, physical, social, and cognitive growth through engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences.

Nature, creativity, and cultural expression are woven throughout our work, encouraging children to explore the world with curiosity, respect, and imagination. Every song, movement, and activity is created to support connection — between children, educators, families, and community.

  • The Teeny Tinys programs are rooted in early childhood education principles and aligned with early learning frameworks. Each experience intentionally supports the whole child.

Through music and movement, children develop:

    • Language and listening skills through rhythm, tempo, and repetition

    • Gross and fine motor skills through coordinated movement and body awareness

    • Emotional regulation and confidence through predictable routines and expressive play

    • Creativity and imagination through music, art, and open-ended exploration

Our sessions are designed to be engaging, flexible, and easy to integrate into childcare centres, preschools, and home routines.

  • Hi, I’m Ms. Aria — early childhood educator, musician, and mama — and the heart behind The Teeny Tinys.

The journey began in a small café when my son was a toddler. Just me, my guitar, and a group of fellow mamas craving music and connection. We sang, we played, we laughed — and I quickly realized how powerful music could be for building confidence, joy, and learning in little ones. It helped us mamas feel less isolated too.

From that humble start, The Teeny Tinys grew into a full music and learning community, but my mission has always stayed the same: to celebrate the magic, wisdom, and wonder of early childhood.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating original songs and programs for organizations like Save the Children Canada, advocating for children’s rights and supporting meaningful learning through music. I’ve also collaborated with Kidoodle TV, developing online children’s learning content, and led Mommy Connections workshops, bringing parents together through music, play, and learning.

Every song, class, and experience we create at The Teeny Tinys is rooted in early childhood education principles. We blend music, movement, and creativity to nurture the whole child — supporting listening, language, coordination, emotional regulation, and confidence.

Whether in a café, a classroom, online, or at home, I’ve seen how music connects children, parents, and educators, and inspires curiosity, joy, and self-expression. That’s the heart of The Teeny Tinys — a place where families and educators can grow together, one song, one giggle, and one tiny step at a time.

  • Joyful Learning – Play, music, and movement make learning fun.

Connection & Community – It takes a village to raise children in an environment where they are safe, cared for and seen a capable. Educators and parents must unite together to nurture this foundation.

Inclusivity & Representation – Every child should see themselves reflected.

Creativity & Imagination – Exploration and self-expression come first.

Respect & Empowerment – Supporting confidence, empathy, and social growth.

Lifelong Love of Music – Inspiring curiosity and creativity that lasts a lifetime.

One of the main reasons I love working with children is that learning alongside them is a shared journey, they invite curiosity, creativity, and remind me to stay present and fully engaged in the moment.
